A Landmark Collaboration: Launching the GRACE Joint Master Programme in XR and Gamification
The consortium behind the innovative GRACE (Gamified Reality Applications for Real-world Challenges and Experiences) Joint Master Programme proudly announces a significant milestone in the development of this interdisciplinary master’s degree. On 27 February 2024, a collaborative agreement was solidified amongst three leading European higher education institutions: Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands, FH St. Pölten in Austria, and Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences in Latvia. This partnership marks a concerted effort to forge a cutting-edge program designed to equip students with expert knowledge in Extended Reality (XR) and gamification techniques, thereby enhancing learning experiences across various sectors.
The GRACE Joint Master Programme is envisaged as a groundbreaking educational initiative aimed at preparing students to leverage XR technologies and gamification strategies to address real-world challenges. The curriculum is tailored to foster the development of sophisticated XR tools, setting a new standard for professional education and skills advancement within the realms of healthcare, education, and industry.
This collaborative effort is part of the institutions’ membership in the European University Alliance E³UDRES², coordinated by FH St. Pölten.
