The GRACE Joint Master Programme is designed for ambitious individuals ready to lead in XR and gamification. Follow this step-by-step guide to complete your application.
1. Key Dates to Remember
- 1 February 2025: Application deadline . Applications from third countries for the WS 2025/26 (with the exception of Ukrainian nationals with a residence permit upon request: csc@fhstp.ac.at.)
- 1 February – 15 March 2025: Application review period
- 15 March – 1 April 2025: Interviews (If applicable)
- 1 April 2025: All applicants will be notified of the admission decision via email.
- September 2025: Programme start
2. Do You Meet the Requirements?
Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science or a Bachelor of Engineering degree or an equivalent university diploma in Game Development, Game Design, Creative Computing, Digital Games, Information Technology, Multimedia Technology, Computer Science in Real-Time Interactive Simulation, Extended Reality, Expanded Reality, AR/VR/XR Development & Design, or XR Design.
- Proof of English language proficiency for non-native speakers:
- IELTS (minimum 6.5 overall, no band below 6.0).
- TOEFL iBT (minimum 90).
- Cambridge CAE/CPE (minimum score of 180).
- Upload test results or proof of exemption.
A digital portfolio showcasing your creative and technical skills, including completed projects, prototypes, or XR designs.
A 500–700 word statement explaining your goals, interests, and alignment with the GRACE programme.
Two letters from academic or professional referees.
A mandatory 2–3 minute video introducing yourself, your background, and why you’re a great fit for GRACE.
3. How to Apply
- Prepare Your Documents:
- Academic transcripts and degree certificate.
- Proof of English proficiency.
- Portfolio, motivation letter, and recommendation letters.
- Personal video (uploaded as a link or file).
- Submit Your Online Application:
- Access the application portal via St. Pölten UAS.
- Application Review:
- Your application will be reviewed by the GRACE Admissions Committee.
- Interview Stage (if applicable):
- Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an online interview to discuss their application and aspirations.
- Final Decision:
- Admission results will be communicated via email in April 2025.
4. Tuiton Fees
- EU Students: €363.36 per semester + ÖH fee.
- Non-EU Students: €1,500 per semester + ÖH fee.
- Additional living costs apply based on the country of study.
