Help Shape the Global XR Jam 2025 – Vote for the Theme!

We’re excited to announce the Global XR Jam 2025 – a free, international online event where students and creatives from around the world will come together to build immersive XR (Extended Reality) experiences in just three days.

The jam will take place from October 24–27, and the theme will be revealed in mid-October. But before we unveil it, we want to hear from you!

We’ve shortlisted three exciting theme ideas, and we’d love your input on which one should inspire this year’s creations. You can also suggest your own theme if you have a brilliant idea to share.

The theme with the most votes will be selected for the event, so don’t miss your chance to help shape the creative direction of the jam.

Theme for Global XR Jam 2025

We’re exploring exciting theme ideas for the Global XR Jam 2025, and we’d love your input. Below are the current options – feel free to vote for your favourite or suggest a new one!

Beyond Reality – Inspired by GRACE’s focus on Extended Reality, this theme invites participants to explore experiences that either enhance or go beyond reality.

Superimposed
- Also connected to GRACE, this more abstract theme encourages layering realities, perspectives, or narratives in creative and unexpected ways.

The Deck of Many Tales – Based on a digital tool created by St Pölten featuring cards that represent elements from folklore. Participants can randomly select a card to get a storytelling prompt for their XR creation. It’s also a playful nod to The Deck of Many Things from Dungeons & Dragons.
