Introducing Sofiia-Khyrstyna Borysiuk: Student Ambassador for GRACE
We are pleased to introduce Sofiia-Khyrstyna as a new student ambassador supporting the GRACE Joint Master programme. She recently represented GRACE at the Master and More fair in Vienna, where she joined our academic team to speak with prospective students and share first-hand insights into studying at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences.
Sofiia is currently enrolled simultaneously in two bachelor’s programmes: Data Science & Artificial Intelligence and Creative Computing.. Alongside her studies, she has already contributed to the GRACE accreditation process by providing valuable student perspectives during the programme’s development phase. As she explores her postgraduate options, GRACE is one of the master programmes she is considering for the next step in her academic path.
A truly international and challenge-driven profile
Originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, Sofiia is studying in Austria with support from an Ernst-Mach scholarship. Her academic journey is highly international, and she will continue this trajectory with an exchange semester in Singapore next year. She is also an active participant in hackathons and interdisciplinary student competitions, reflecting her enthusiasm for challenge-based learning and collaboration across fields.
Outside her formal studies, Sofiia stands out for her broad skill set. She works as a Math Tutor, contributes to XR-related development projects, and is part of campus media as a Radio Assistant for the CR101 show. Her interests span technology, creativity, communication, and storytelling, and she applies these talents through various student initiatives. Another remarkable aspect of her profile is her competitive experience in chess tournaments across Europe, demonstrating strategic thinking, focus, and discipline.
Supporting GRACE as a student ambassador
In her role as student ambassador, Sofiia will contribute to GRACE’s outreach and visibility, supporting promotional activities and helping future applicants understand the programme from a student point of view. Her background in creative computing, international mobility, and multidisciplinary project work makes her a strong and authentic representative of the GRACE values.
A word from Sofiia
“I’m excited to support GRACE because it combines international collaboration, creative technology, and real-world challenges. It is a programme that encourages students to push their boundaries and discover what they are truly capable of.”
