Studying in GRACE is more than lectures and projects – it’s about becoming part of three vibrant communities. Over two years you will live and learn in Austria, the Netherlands, and Latvia, experiencing cultural traditions, student life, and international friendships that make the programme truly unique.
Three Countries – Three Perspectives

St. Pölten
AUSTRIA
Your journey starts in St. Pölten, a small yet lively city just 30 minutes from Vienna. Student dorms are close to campus, cafés and bars give the town a relaxed atmosphere, and the Alps are never far away for weekend trips. One Community
Although you study in three different countries, the GRACE cohort travels this journey together. This creates a strong international community spirit. You will share experiences, support each other through transitions, and build a network of friendships and professional contacts across Europe.
Buddy systems and mentoring help you integrate at each university.
Student associations and ESN networks organise cultural events, trips, and social activities.
The GRACE Student Board gives you a voice in programme governance and ensures student perspectives are heard.
Shared Experiences
Cultural life in GRACE goes beyond the classroom:
Welcome weeks and orientation activities introduce you to local life.
Hackathons, bootcamps, and project exhibitions mix academic challenge with social exchange.
Informal activities – from cooking nights and city trips to language exchanges – make the community feel like a second home.
Practical Tips
International Offices at each partner university provide guidance on housing, health, and daily life.
